The first organizational planning meeting for the ALS Bike Trek MN has just adjourned. The Trek will take place on May 21st, 2011, and the planning committee is getting geared up – and you should, too. Last year, FruitShare provided strawberries, oranges, apples and bananas riding to cure ALS. Our founder, Everett Myers, lost his father to this disease over 21 years ago. Now, Everett is deeply committed to helping with this event every year. The Trek aims to improve awareness about the disease and to raise funds for the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS-TDI).
